Western Australian crab fisherman plunge 4WD into the Swan River

Video of a group of Western Australian men driving a four-wheel-drive into the Swan River to catch crabs has taken the internet by storm.

The video, captioned "Crabbing in the Swan", shows two men sitting on top of a Toyota Landcruiser to cast nets as it eases into the water.

The video was posted to Facebook by Mingenew man Jamie Koric on Friday and shows the vehicle being driven 20 metres into the water.

At one point, water laps over the car bonnet as the two shirtless men drop crab nets into the water.

The vehicle successfully completes a semi-circle and makes it back to shore with no apparent damage or problems.

The clip has been seen more than 130,000 times and shared 1462 times.
