Wedding guest fighting for life after stairway fall

A wedding guest has been critically injured in a fall down a flight of stairs in Sydney's CBD.

The 45-year-old fell while attending a function in the Queen Victoria Building, on George Street, before 9.45pm yesterday.

Police and paramedics were called and the man was treated at the scene before being taken to St Vincent's Hospital.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
