Wedded Wiggles exclusively discuss their weekend nuptials
Fans have already taken to calling Emma Watkins and Lachlan Gillespie "Mr and Mrs Wiggle" after the yellow and purple pair married at the weekend.
The pair wed in front of 200 of their friends and family in the NSW Southern Highlands on Saturday.
In an exclusive interview after the nuptials, Watkins, the first female English-speaking Wiggle, admitted it was tough decision for her to resist wearing a yellow wedding dress.
"I really, really like the colour yellow," Watkins told A Current Affair.
"But in the end, I fell in love with the dress that I ended up wearing."
Despite dating for more than two years before Gillespie proposed last year, the couple kept their relationship a secret — shocking fans, and the parents of their fans, when making their plan to wed public.
"We haven't spent a day apart since 2012, really," Watkins told A Current Affair.
The couple's honeymoon will be put on ice with the pair unable to take time out of their busy touring schedule until later in the year.
As for a future Baby Wiggle, the pair both admit their parents have already started planning on becoming grandparents.
"Even mum said something at the wedding," Gillespie said.
"So, we kind of will have to plan it in between tours. But yes, some day in the future would be lovely."
