The Bureau of Meteorology has issued multiple flood warnings, as well as a strong wind warning, and a hazardous surf warning for K'gari and the Sunshine Coast tomorrow.

The rain is likely to continue into the start of the week, but is set to clear up by Anzac Day.

Northern New South Wales is also set to cop heavy rain before the system moves offshore.

For tomorrow, the Bureau has warned people at K'gari and on the Sunshine Coast to avoid the ocean and steer clear of surf-exposed areas.
