Warning of catastrophic fire conditions for parts of Western Australia
West Australian authorities have today issued a warning of catastrophic bushfire conditions for parts of the state.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) has issued a warning of catastrophic conditions this weekend for Stirling Island, Upper Great Southern, Beaufort, Lakes and Avon.
The BoM has also issued extreme condition warnings for Inland Central West North and South, Stirling Coast, Roe, Mortlock, Ninghan, and Jilbadge over the weekend.

It comes as fire burned through Rockingham yesterday. 9News
Firefighters are already battling fires in the state's south-west stoked by hot and windy conditions this week.
An emergency fire warning is currently in place for parts of Shadforth in the Shire of Denmark.
Emergency WA issued the warning this morning with residents urged to evacuate as there is a threat to lives and homes.
"Houses on Point Hillier Vista and McLeod Road are under threat from fire," Emergency WA said on its website.
"Residents in the Emergency Warning area, leave in a westerly direction on South Coast Highway towards Denmark."

A fire in East Rockingham, Hillman and Coolongup was downgraded yesterday to watch and act.
The fire sparked just before 2pm yesterday near the intersection of Dixon and Mandurah Roads, Rockingham, forcing many residents to evacuate.
The inferno put the Rockingham Hospital on high alert as it was part of the emergency warning zone.
