Drizzle breaks Adelaide's 46-day dry spell
Adelaide went 46 days without a single drop of rain until a light shower this morning broke the streak.
The city's official weather station on West Terrace recorded 0.4mm about 8.30am, which broke the dry spell according to Weatherzone.
By midday about 1.2mm had fallen in the city and the Adelaide Hills.

The six-week dry spell in February and March was the eighth-longest rainless stretch for the city on record.
Weatherzone said Adelaide's longest recorded dry spell was 69 days from January to March in 1893.
Adelaide had a wet start to summer, recording 73.4mm in December.

Most of the state recorded below average rainfall except the far north east, which caught some of Queensland's heavy downpours.
The town of Tarcoola near Coober Pedy recorded 40 degrees today, while Adelaide's top was 26 degrees.
