A wet weekend is expected across parts of NSW and Queensland after a warm week.

A trough will trigger a few showers and storms across northern Queensland and the Top End.

High pressure and dry air will keep elsewhere settled.

Winds southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h, turning southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day and reaching 30 km/h along the coast.
