An online plot known as Plan B is reportedly advocating violent protest at the G20 in Brisbane this year.

Plan B is being distributed over the internet and encourages protestors to destroy ATMs, occupy officers and harrass officials, the Courier-Mail has reported.

The "attacks" would be carried out away from the security zones, in places where there would be fewer police.

The group distributing the plan has adopted to motto "disrupt, resist, obstruct".

“We are calling for people to form affinity groups in their home towns and autonomously organise decentralised direct action against the G20 and the capitalist occupation of our lives," the plan, which has been shared on Facebook, reads.

“Just imagine, while the pigs are helplessly patrolling the streets of Brisbane’s CBD in their ridiculous armour with their intimidating vehicles, decentralised waves of creation and destruction will ebb and flow right across the country."

Economic summits around the world in recent years have attracted dramatic and violent protests.

Queensland Police Assistant Commissioner Katarina Carroll has warned law-abiding protests to be concerned about infiltration by "violent extremists".
