Perth house raid after female driver shot

A house has been raided after a woman was shot while driving in Perth's north eastern suburbs.

The 24-year-old victim was driving with a man in Bayswater on Tuesday afternoon when she was shot in the upper body.

The pair went straight to the nearest police station and the injured woman was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police raided a house on Whatley Crescent in Bayswater on Tuesday night, seizing a small amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

No arrests have been made yet and the investigation continues.
