Watch and act alert for WA bushfire

The alert level for a lightning-sparked bushfire on pastoral land east of Carnarvon in Western Australia has been reduced due to favourable weather.

An emergency warning was issued on Wednesday for the area west of Gascoyne Junction, but has since been downgraded to a watch and act.

The out-of-control and unpredictable blaze is burning on Yalbalgo Station and is heading towards Pimbee Station, posing a possible threat to lives and homes.
