WA train death may be linked to car crash
AAP
A man has died after being hit by a train in Perth's north with police checking on links to a nearby crash involving three or four cars.
Police say a number of people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the crash on the Mitchell Freeway at Duncraig early on Wednesday.
It's possible a person in one of the cars left the scene on foot with a man hit and killed by a train about half a kilometre away soon after.
