WA robbers used wooden stake, branches

Police have released CCTV footage of three men who attacked and robbed a man in Perth, using a wooden stake and tree branches to assault him.

The 20-year-old victim was walking along Canning Highway in Como, in Perth's south, in the early hours of October 7 when the men began following him and confronted him on Henley Street, police say.

They demanded money, hit his legs with the tree branches and stole items from his bag before running away.
