WA road under review after fatal crashes

A stretch of road north of Perth that has claimed the lives of six people over the past eight months, including a six-year-old boy, is under review by the state government.
The child, a 38-year-old woman and an 83-year-old man were killed in a head-on car collision on Indian Ocean Drive near Breton Bay on Thursday, prompting a review by Main Roads, the road safety commission and WA Police.
Premier Mark McGowan says the audit is urgent and the group will meet next week to discuss options to improvements, which could include reducing the speed limit and road widening.
