WA policeman stood down over 'incident'

A police officer in regional Western Australia has been stood down while an investigation is being held into an incident involving a fellow officer.
A police spokeswoman confirmed an internal investigation, overseen by the Corruption and Crime Commission, is underway into an incident on August 22 at the Northam Police Station in the Wheatbelt region.
No injuries were sustained by the female officer during the incident, the spokeswoman told AAP.
