WA policeman faces multiple rape charges

A senior West Australian policeman has been charged with seven counts of rape allegedly committed while he was off duty at a private residence.
The 44-year-old Mandurah district sergeant has been stood down from operational duties and will face Rockingham Magistrates Court later on Friday.
Police say the offences occurred on September 24.
