WA police seize four cars
Four cars have been seized in Perth after three people were caught driving at more than 150km/h and another was found to be driving while disqualified.
Three drivers were captured on a speed camera at Champion Lakes on Friday, where the speed limit is 100km/h.
A 30-year-old woman was detected driving at 160km/h and a 37-year-old man was caught travelling at 197km/h.
Both had their cars seized for 28 days and were charged with reckless driving.
A 36-year-old woman was also caught travelling at 154km/h and was spoken to by police before being issued with a notice to surrender the car within a week.
The officers later pulled over a fourth car on the Roe Highway in Midland and found the driver's licence had been disqualified and he had bail conditions not to occupy the driver's seat of a motor vehicle.
His vehicle was seized and he was charged with breach of bail and no authority to drive.
