Search continues for prospector missing for more than a week
A search is underway for a man missing in WA bushland for more than a week.
Barry Podmore was last seen on Wednesday, December 4, and was spoken to over the phone on Thursday, December 5.
It is believed the 73-year-old is prospecting in the Karroun Hills area and travelling in a distinctive Mercedes Benz with registration MM151.

Police said the vehicle may have been sighted travelling north-east of Beacon towards the Karroun Hills Nature Reserve on Friday, December 6.
Podmore is described as being approximately 170cm tall, of solid build, with short grey hair and hazel eyes.
If sighted, members of the public are advised to contact police immediately on 131 444.

Temperatures have exceeded 40C in parts of the state this week, while recent rain has left the ground in other areas boggy.
Police and family have been unable to contact him and have expressed concern for his welfare.
