Two people have appeared in court after police discovered more than 7500 cannabis plants in 14 commercial-scale greenhouses in regional Western Australia.

Nam Van Truong, 31, and Thuy Thi Dinh, 29, faced Perth Magistrates Court on Friday charged with cultivating a prohibited plant with intent to sell or supply, following the discovery at a property in Red Gully.

They were not required to enter pleas and were remanded in custody until their next court date on November 30.
