WA man to face trial over woman's death

A man will face trial over the death of a woman who was assaulted in Western Australia's Mid-West last year.
Ronald Ray Mippy was originally charged with grievous bodily harm after he allegedly assaulted the 38-year-old woman in Meekatharra in July.
In the Stirling Magistrates Court on Thursday, Mippy pleaded not guilty to the upgraded charge of murder, following the woman's death in hospital, and he is scheduled to face trial in February next year.
