WA man injured in bushfire faces charges

A 32-year-old man who was injured in a bushfire has been charged with deliberately lighting the blaze in wetlands in Perth's north-east.
Police allege the man, from Toodyay in Western Australia's Wheatbelt region, started the fire on Altone Road in Kiara on Tuesday afternoon.
He was the seen nearby with injuries from the fire and was taken to St John of God Hospital for treatment before being charged with wilfully lighting a fire likely to injure or damage.
