WA man has child material jail term cut

A WA man who was jailed for swapping child exploitation material with other fathers has had his sentence trimmed by one year.

Graham Gavin Kenworthy, 47, was sentenced to three years and nine months behind bars after he was found guilty of using a carriage service to transmit the images, following an investigation involving undercover police in Queensland and the US.

Kenworthy, the former licensee of a popular Bunbury beachside tavern, failed to have his conviction overturned in the WA Court of Appeal on Wednesday but successfully had his sentence reduced to two years and nine months.
