WA man charged for approaching young girls

A Western Australian man is due to appear in court after he allegedly approached a number of young girls as they were walking to school.

The 26-year-old was arrested on Friday after he allegedly approached four girls aged between 11 and 13 near schools in Broome and had "inappropriate" conversations with them, police say.

The Cable Beach man has been refused bail and is due to appear before Broome Magistrates Court on Saturday charged with indecent dealings with a child under 13 years.
