A WorkSafe investigation into the death of a German backpacker who was struck by lightning on a farm in Western Australia's Wheatbelt region has concluded her employer did not breach any laws.

Stefanie Wiedenroth was working for a sheep crutching contractor near Bruce Rock when she was hit by lightning during a freak storm in March.

Ms Wiedenroth, 22, was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital in a critical condition but died three days later.
