WA driver blames wind for speeding
AAP
"The wind was pushing me." That was the creative excuse a West Australian driver gave police for driving close to 20km/h over the speed limit.
Local police didn't accept the excuse, fining the driver $200 and deducting two demerit points on Monday.
The driver was allegedly driving 127km/h in a 110km/h zone, and was caught in Bootenal, in the state's Mid West region.
