WA doughnut diehards break record
AAP
Sweet-toothed West Australians have smashed a record at Krispy Kreme's Perth store debut.
Fans bought 73,200 doughnuts between 9.30am and midnight on Wednesday, the biggest first day sales of Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the company's 77-year history.
Some diehards even camped out for the launch, including 19-year-old Favian Lin who slept outside the store for three nights.
