WA bushfire victims consider class action

Victims of the 2014 bushfire that destroyed 57 homes in Perth's Hills region will meet at the end of the month to discuss the future of a class action against Western Power.

Stoneville and Parkerville Progress Association chairman Greg Jones said it was difficult to contact victims of the fire - which was sparked when a rotten, privately-owned power pole fell over - because many people had moved out of the area.

Representatives from law firm Slater and Gordon will hold a closed meeting at the Parkerville Pavilion on June 30.
