Baby dies after suffering serious injuries in Perth, man arrested

A baby who was allegedly seriously injured by a 23-year-old male relative in Perth has died in hospital.

Police were called to Princess Margaret Hospital after the seven-month-old girl was admitted on Monday with serious injuries.

The Ellenbrook man was charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm, but the charges could be upgraded pending a post-mortem examination.
