Two people, including a 90-year-old war veteran, have been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at a Perth nursing home.

Fire fighters responding to the Menora blaze at 4am on Monday found a bedroom filled with smoke and a small fire in the roof space.

The blaze, which caused an estimated $75,000 damage, is thought to have been caused by a faulty ceiling fan.
