A man and a woman have been rescued from their rapidly sinking boat after it struck a reef near Perth.
The man, 60, and woman, 59, were making their way from East Fremantle to Rottnest Island about 6pm on Friday when their cabin cruiser started taking on water, police say.
The pair was forced to jump from their partially submerged boat before they were picked up by Rottnest police and Rangers.
