UPDATE: Emergency crews abseil to rescue Albany cliff fall victim

Emergency services have abseiled to a man who is believed to have fallen from the Natural Bridge near The Gap in Albany, Western Australia.

A man is reportedly lying on the rocks with a suspected broken leg, but is conscious and talking to emergency crews.

Two ambulances and a rescue helicopter are at the scene.

The victim is expected to be taken to local hospital by this afternoon.

Emergency services say the fall happened before 7.30am this morning.

It was previously reported that two people had fallen.
