Perth toddler dies after hit by car driven by father

A toddler has died in hospital after being hit by a car, driven by her father, in the driveway of their eastern Perth home.
The two-year-old girl was rushed to the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in a serious condition following the accident in Inglewood about 4.25pm but later died from her injuries, police say.
It's not clear if the vehicle was being reversed or driven forward at the time.

Major crash investigators are looking into the incident.
