Suspicious fires at Perth unit complex

Residents have had to extinguish two suspicious fires with a hose at a unit complex in Perth.

They were started by one item being thrown at the gate of the Beckenham complex late on Saturday night and another towards the units, police say.

The small fires caused only minor smoke and damage.
