South Perth murder trial set for next year

A man will face trial next year after pleading not guilty to killing Richard Travis Holloway in his South Perth home.

John Paul Crossland appeared in the West Australian Supreme Court via video link from prison on Thursday charged with the murder of 42-year-old Mr Holloway on May 11, 2013.

His body was found in his unit three days later.

Crossland was remanded in custody and will next appear in court for a status conference on February 19.

His eight-day trial will start on June 8.
