Skateboarding WA teen hit by car dies

A 15-year-old boy has died after being struck by a car as he rode his skateboard on a residential street south of Perth.

Police say the collision happened after the teenager rode the skateboard out of a driveway and onto a street in Australind just before 7pm on Thursday.

He was flown to Royal Perth Hospital but died from his injuries.

On Wednesday, a 16-year-old boy died after being hit by two cars while riding home from a skate park on a push scooter in the Perth suburb of Cloverdale.
