A 23-year-old homeless woman has been charged over the murder of 55-year-old West Australian mine bus driver Lindsay Edward Judas.

Mr Judas was last seen in February 2013 in Broome, where he had travelled to go fishing.

A 38-year-old remand prisoner at Broome Regional Prison was charged with the South Hedland man's murder on Monday.

On Thursday, police said a woman of no fixed address had been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

She is scheduled to appear in Broome Magistrates Court via video link on November 24.

Human remains discovered earlier this week as a result of an investigation into Mr Judas' suspected murder are yet to be identified.
