Search stalls for missing WA fisherman

The search for a missing crab fisherman off Denham on Western Australia's Gascoyne coast will resume on Tuesday, after an extensive air and sea search was unsuccessful.

Police called off their search on Monday night, 11 hours after the 40-year-old was reported missing.

He was on a crab fishing boat 45 nautical miles west from Steep Point.

Two boats and three aircraft were deployed in the search, while radio contact was being made with other vessels in the area.
