Scammers target WA's unemployed miners

Scammers are targeting WA's unemployed miners with a fake jobs website that sounds very similar to a legitimate and well-known employment company.

The fake website www.miningjobswa.org is mimicking www.miningjobswa.net.au and is using an ABN stolen from an Australian company with a similar name, while the Subiaco address is a park.

The bogus website is still active despite efforts by Consumer Protection to have it closed down, so job seekers are being warned to avoid the site.
