River search resumes for missing Perth man

A land and water search for a 37-year-old man has resumed at first light along the banks of Perth's Swan River, six days after he went missing.

Sean David Mitchell was last seen drinking with friends at a CBD pub on Friday, and told a friend he was planning to go on a friend's yacht.

Mr Mitchell's bag was found on the river bank near Blackwall reach in Bicton the next day, but the man who found it didn't notify police until Tuesday.
