Perth man accused of murdering girlfriend

A 36-year-old man has appeared in a Perth court charged with murdering his de facto partner.

Jody Websdale, 42, was found by a neighbour with neck injuries in the back courtyard of a block of public housing units on Cooper Street in Midland on Wednesday afternoon.

She was declared dead at hospital.

Damien John Couzens appeared in Midland Magistrates Court on Friday and was remanded to Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court in April.
