Perth hosts bushfire fundraiser

Local and international acts billed to play Southbound festival will perform a single charity concert in Perth on Sunday night for victims of the South West bushfires.

Headline acts including Bloc Party and Birds of Tokyo, which were scheduled to perform at the three day music festival in Busselton - cancelled due to the fires - will play at Perth's HBF arena on Sunday night.

Net profits of the event will be directed to the victims of the fire, according to promoters.

Perth band Birds of Tokyo posted to Twitter on Saturday saying the fundraising event was "a show we just couldn't say no to".
