Perth chemical leak contained

Workers at an engineering firm in a Perth suburb and nearby residents have been given the all clear after they were evacuated from the area following a chemical leak.

Firefighters contained an ammonia leak at RCR Resources in the city's southeastern suburb of Welshpool on Friday morning.

A 300-metre exclusion zone had been set up after the leak was discovered.
