Perth fish and chips shop on fire

A fire has torn through a fish-and-chip shop in Perth's south, causing the building's roof to collapse.

The blaze was reported just after 11am on Monday, with firefighters taking just over an hour to extinguish the flames.

A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said the estimated cost of damage was not yet known.
