Perth bus evacuated moments before being engulfed in flames

A bus full of passengers was evacuated in Perth before it burst into flames.

The front of the diesel bus caught fire as it drove through Alexander Heights, Transperth confirmed.

Nine people were removed from the bus safely.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire, but the bus was completely destroyed.

Paramedics were not called to the scene.
