Perth apartment fire becomes murder probe

A 49-year-old man has died after being pulled from a Perth apartment fire, prompting homicide detectives to investigate.
Peter Anthony Jarman died at Royal Perth Hospital after he was seriously injured in an apartment fire on Charles Street in North Perth on Saturday morning.
A family member issued a statement via police, thanking the efforts of neighbours and emergency services who responded.

"We have lost a very loved family member and friend who will be forever in hearts," they said.
