Primary producers affected by ex-Tropical Cyclone Olwyn in Western Australia's Gascoyne and Pilbara regions have been given access to more money to help with the clean-up.

Producers in Carnarvon, Exmouth, Shark Bay and a part of Ashburton can now apply for federal grants of up to $25,000.

Communities lashed by the cyclone were previously offered government assistance after being declared a natural disaster in March.
