MUA organiser pre-selected for Fremantle

Maritime Union of Australia organiser Chris Brown has been pre-selected by Labor to contest the federal seat of Fremantle vacated by Melissa Parke.
He beats Fremantle deputy mayor and chief of staff to Ms Parke, Josh Wilson.
Mr Brown has been working on the waterfront for 29 years and says he will do all he can "to earn the trust and support of the wider community".
