Motorcyclist kills deer on Perth freeway

A 31-year-old motorcyclist has been charged with unlicensed riding after striking a deer on Perth's Kwinana Freeway, killing the animal.
The man has been taken to Royal Perth Hospital with a broken arm and leg and severe road rash.
Police are investigating whether speed was a factor in the crash, which happened about 1am on Friday in Karnup.
