McGowan labels train stunt 'very foolish'

A man who clung to the exterior of a train in Perth was "very foolish" and other people should not copy him, West Australia Premier Mark McGowan has warned.

The man got on the train in Leederville on Saturday afternoon and was filmed by the public hanging off the train, but moved into the carriage when the train arrived at Glendalough station, and he was arrested at the next stop at Stirling and charged with trespassing.

"It's not smart, its not clever, it's not wise. You're risking your life, you'll devastate your parents if you get killed. Don't do it," Mr McGowan said on Monday.
