Man shot three times in Perth garage

A 25-year-old man has been shot three times in the leg and hip while in his garage in suburban Perth.

The man was approached by another man in Westminster about 8pm on Sunday when he was shot in the left ankle, police say.

He tried to escape into the house but was shot twice more, with the bullets striking him on the hip before the gunman fled. The man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
