Man mauled by dog at Perth park
A 28-year-old man is receiving urgent treatment in Royal Perth Hospital this afternoon after a vicious dog attack in Perth’s southern suburbs.
He suffered serious wounds to his arm after he was attacked at Higgins Park in St James.
He was walking his own dog at about 9am when a larger dog off the lead began attacking his pet.

When he tried to break up the fight his arm was mauled, receiving several puncture wounds.
The owner of the larger dog did not stop to help, instead she casually walked away from the scene.
The incident has been reported and authorities are now trying to track down the owner.
